Inspired by the two performances by the Argentinian artist Marta Minujin "Pago de la Deuda Externa a Andy Warhol" (1985) and "Solving the International Conflict with Art and Corn" (1996), together with the recent explosion of export agriculture in South America, food imports to Sweden and the food crisis with speculation on food prices. NEW EVENT!!!

7th of September - Halmstad Sea Performance Festival

On the 15 km long sand beach 'East Beach' in Halmstad (Sweden) we will do the next
performance event (summer ending here so might be rain and storm or

sunshine). We're patching the program together with the locals.

THE INTERNATIONAL IDEA is WAVE CROQUIS - life drawing of waves:

1. Person walks down into the sea water, at least so both feet are wet.

2. Person brings along paper and pencil. When in the water the person tries to draw the waves that pases

around the person. PLUS everyone will do it on the 7th of september in some kind of physical contact - we connect in better ways thanfacebook - global performance.

3. The documentations from all over the world will be presented at http://www.seaperformance.blogspot.com/

You like the idea? Wanna get wet with us? (You do it in the sea close to you, we do

it in Sweden). Trying to get people on board at different places of the world.

El 7 de SEPTIEMBRE entramos en nuestro mar vecino con lápiz y papel y
tratamos de dibujar los ondas pasando alrededor de nuestro pies -
todos juntos el mismo día en varios ciudades y países en el mundo -
todos en un tipo de contacto corporal mundial vía el facebook marítimo
global.

Queremos hacer el performance en colaboración con gente en todos partes.
